The Falcon Hotel – Stratford-Upon-Avon
ECA have been appointed by Stepnell Construction to design and install the Electrical services on the multi million pound project at The Falcon Hotel in Stratford-Upon-Avon. The grade 2 listed 83 bedroom Falcon Hotel is an iconic and charming hotel with a frontage dating back to the late 15th century, in the heart of the historic town of Stratford. The refurbishment will see a new restaurant, bar and lounge created along with a new state of the art kitchen, gym, meeting room and air conditioning installed in rooms. The hotel is operated by The St James Hotel Group who is a privately owned collection of hotels in well located destinations throughout England.
The new hotel will remain a big part of the community and history of Stratford which has become a magnet for Shakespeare lovers the world over. Whilst the hotel’s official name will change, the striking Falcon sign which hangs above the doorway will remain and the hotel restaurant will be named The Falcon. It’s one of England’s most charming hotels, which contains 20 rooms in its haunted 16th-century wing.
First fix is due to commence in May 2017, and be completed for July 2018. The hotel will remain open throughout the refurbishment by carefully phasing each stage of the project, to ensure minimal impact on guest’s experience.
