Renewable Energy Specialists

Ashfield ECO Systems Ltd are listed members of the Renewable Energy Association Limited (REAL) Assurance scheme. We follow the REAL Assurance scheme consumer code which contribute to a high standard of service.

We are also listed on the MCS certified installer register. The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an internationally recognised quality assurance scheme, supported by the Department of Energy and Climate Change. MCS certifies microgeneration technologies used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources.

MCS is also an eligibility requirement for the Government’s financial incentives, which include the Feed-in Tariff (FITs) and the Renewable Heat Incentive.

The MCS Database is used to generate an MCS Certificate for a customer’s installation; the certificate will be generated within 10 working days of the installation being commissioned. This MCS Certificate can be used by the customer to obtain financial incentives such as FITs. The installation information is stored and used by Energy Suppliers to verify the eligibility of an installation.

What is FITs ?

The Feed-in Tariffs (FITs) scheme was introduced on 1 April 2010, under powers in the Energy Act 2008. Through the use of FITs, DECC hopes to encourage deployment of additional small-scale (less than 5MW) low-carbon electricity generation, particularly by organisations, businesses, communities and individuals that have not traditionally engaged in the electricity market.

This will allow many people to invest in small-scale low-carbon electricity, in return for a guaranteed payment from an electricity supplier of their choice for the electricity they generate and use as well as a guaranteed payment for unused surplus electricity they export back to the grid.

Our team give a complete dedicated service including consultation, design, installation and maintenance.
